Bluebell Walks
Open from Good Friday until end of May
From 9am until dusk
2010 will be our second year of opening, the first year was a great sucess with many local interest groups discovering our ancient woods; a chance to enjoy one of the largest pieces of ancient woodland left in East Sussex. A wonderful Spring spectacle and fascinating local history.
The woods are oen from Good Friday until the end of May for the bluebell season, large areas of the nearly 70 acres of woods are carpeted with the flowers, plus anemones, primroses, orchids and many others. At the moment the ponds are teeming with frogs spawning and we're seeing deer tracks everyday along the rides and often see the fallow deer herd disppearing through the woods.
The bluebells are normally at their best for the last two weeks of April through the first two weeks of May, but the woods will be beautiful throughout this whole period. If you would like to make any group bookings please contact me and I'll be happy to discuss arrangements with you, otherwise please just turn up!
