Green Wood Working

Dan Holmes from  Sussex Gates  www.sussexgates.co.uk/ is working with us this year and has created the outdoor jungle shower for the bell tents, lovely areas of natural fencing and our fabulour new signs.  His products will be for sale in the shop, such as mallets and tent pegs.  In addition to this he will be running a number of day long courses in the art of green wood working.  The courses will be held in one of the barns and you will create a willow basket to take away with you at the end of the day.

In addition Dan is also holding  drop in days down in the camping field on a few Saturdays through out the season;  in his woodman's hide he will show you how to make a range of simple green wood items such as spoons, whistles, pot hangers and walking sticks.

The price for the day (6 hour) courses is £60 to include all materials, and will be for  a maximum of 6 people.  The course will be 100% confirmed 10 days before the date as we need a minimum number of people booked on the course to be able to run it.  Please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
